What specifically restricts the State of South Carolina?

I can send you the entire legal opinion if you really want it, but here is the relevant section:

"South Carolina cases have held that an Alternative Means of Entry (AMOE) itself does not prevent a finding of illegal gambling. Attorney General opinions suggest that so long as some participants pay for the right to pay, the element of consideration is satisfied. Based on the foregoing, a high risk exists that despite offering an AMOE, your proposed subscription poker services may nonetheless qualify as illegal gambling in South Carolina."

This opinion is shared by all of the other companies that offer subscription poker.

The one thing I don't like is the initial chip stack is too big...2000, to 2500 would be a better starting stack!

BWTCI,
Surveys helps you toward satisfying your target markets if analyzed correctly as I'm sure you know. Surveys may also expand your market by making a few changes... can't hurt to have surveys AND be creative simultaneously.

OD, I have no problem with the surveys, that is why I decided to fill one out, I hope that they take into account what the people have said though, and I am afraid they will not, make no mistake though I have not paid a dime to play either site, and I am not complaining, personally I feel both sites have a lot to offer especially to someone like me who is still forming my ideas on the game as a whole, I am more than happy with my results from both sites.

I guess what I was trying to say is that at times SC has seemed above the fray, that they were going to proceed in what ever direction they wanted to regardless of what the people said and now, well now that there is some more competition to there niche, has I am sure we will see more, they now are reaching out, very reactive especially if you pay people money to direct, lead, steer your ship.

I tried to join fleetstreet games today but it wouldn't let me because they say the state that I live in isn't legal.  Oh well I guess.  I play on fulltilt and pokerstars and have no problems.  I guess it's up to the jurisdiction the sites being ruled under.  Cry

I love FS. While I like SC, they just don't have enough action, so I wind up going over to FS. I don't quite get it yet, but I;m beginning to figure it out. Will start playing for tokens. I see a lot of SC people there. I'm IrishQueeen there too.
