Then verify your account by email, then search for the bracket by going to "Find a tournament", "national/international', poker, then BTF Holiday HU Tournament.

Everyone who posted on the HU topic to this point has made it into the HU Tournament. Please read thru all of the below if you are playing.

1 For new players who have not been active on the forum, we have allowed you to play in the tournament. We ask that you start becoming active. We are all adults here, so we can't force requirements, but we have 'strong expectations' that you make a couple posts this week and attend the chat at least once or twice a day. You may need to use chat to track down your opponent and schedule to play.
2 To schedule with your opponent, send them a message in this topic, find them in chat, or send them a personal message using the forum.
3 First round deadline/expectation: by end of day Thurday, December 11.
4 You may play one game or best 2 of 3, decide with your opponent.
5 Post results in the forum asap.
6 I could use help with the online bracket, but you must have an understanding of brackets and be decent on the computer.
7 Don't forget this is a double elimination tournament, so you will get a second chance!!!!!
8 Post any questions on the forum.
**** If you have a different name in chat, or elsewhere...(mrsallin?)...be sure your opponent knows.

If your opponent does not contact you after a couple days, post here. Be sure you have tried to contact them using all ways possible:
1) forum topic posting 2) forum private message 3) try to find in chat 4) private message on chatango 5) possibly find on spadeclub and post to their profile, use www.spadeclub.com/profile/***entername***
See I thought we had to play best 2 out of 3, me and the person I played only played one game, and I asked 2 out of 3 and they never responded before we even started the match. So now I am confused. LOL I am thinking we need to play 2 more games or best 2 out of 3????
Pat are we gonna do 2 out of 3 or just the one game that you beat me on with your AA LOL

Any unplayed first round matches will be forfeited unless I hear from the players involved by Tuesday evening. Any input I receive will help me determine moving someone on instead of forfeiting.

Post here if you are looking for your opponent and pm your opponent directing them to read this blog. Those that are looking and cannot complete will move on after these dates. Those matches where neither opponent posts here I will flip a coin and move them on. An "A" and a "B" bracket winner will be achieved by the 31st. So be prepared to HU. If you have scheduling problems, Im sorry. Good luck in the next one. The A and B bracket winners will meet at a set time after the 1st. The time will be announced so that the forum can rail if so desired.

Rdsxfan defeated (read sucked out on) DrCheckRaise 2-1. I equated it to Kwai Chang Caine, plucking the pebble from the hand of the master, after he called an all in with AQ (28.2%) that cracked KK (71.4%.
CGeezy was the toughest opponent by far, Jontm wins 2-1.

Let's get this wrapped up. Completely my fault for not following thru and getting it done. Thank you to Skoal for keeping it going most of the time.
We are not going to complete the double elimination bracket. My apologies to those still alive in that bracket, but I hope you understanding on this.
Still alive in the single elimination bracket: rdsxfan, joespat75, garlic - I am ready to send you $5 in Full Tilt transfer.
Portlandford must still play grillsauce (please do asap). The winner plays joespat. That winner then plays rdsxfan in the championship final. I will award another $5 to the champion.
Again my apologies. I hope if anyone wins money on Full Tilt you will consider making a donation back to BTF for another tourney.
