I have created this section for open discussion about your poker skills and how you might plan on improving your poker game for the new year coming.  Please add as much detail as you like.  I am going to create mutlitple sections in this category for everyone's input.  I have lots of thoughts and may not get them out tonite, but will add on over time.

 Thanks!  Pauko

I go deep a lot, but then it seems I just self-combust and often bubble out. My end game sucks, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Should I tighten up, should I loosen up, should I throw caution to the wind--should I jump out the freakin window? Every decision at that point becomes crucial and I'm in way over my head. I can't seem to break through and it's driving me crazy! Whew! That feels better! :-] Oh, never mind!

I think at some point its all about do or die when you have AA KK QQ JJ A10 suited play it hard.Dont be afraid to push your chips all in there its time at this point to get a good stack or die trying.Positioning is key and knowing when your table is weak and who to buy some blinds from.GL

Agreed, key is learning the table and knowing who to push against and against whom to just limp or slight raise. Other key is trying to just keep stack even until the big hand hits and you can commit with more than just a pair, but that is easily said. Gain a reputation and have them afraid of your bets. Not by size, by your reputation. Less risk greater reward.

He has ace seven and flops the seven i just laughed but its pretty annoying what do i do?

I am a fan of DannyNegraneau and his theory is unless you have the nutz, then small ball theory, never shove into an uncertain pot, its better to win a bunch of little pots or lose a little one then lose a big one.  It takes time and patience but eventually you learn to ignore that desire to make that huge river rage.
