Re: Ehhh
It appears that Willow (Megadeath) is using a Heads Up Display (HUD), possibly Pockertracker 3.
The numbers under Eldrick W show 71/38/100/11.1.
My reading of this is that Eldrick 71% of the time Voluntarility Puts $$ into the Pot VPIP.
38% of the time he puts in a preflop raise and his agressions, which is a formula based on amount bet against blinds and such is 100%.
He waited for cards, believing that Elrick would call, which he did. Eldrick then sucked Out!
Re: ok everyone here is my plea for self improvement
DN,
Probably need a bit more info to see where you are at.
Here is how my evolution has gone to date:
* Part of the Moneymaker effect in 2003. Saw it on ESPN and WPT on the Travel Channel.
* Took part in neighborhood Quarterly Men's Night Out Games 15-25 people. $30 buyin. 1st time went out 2nd, next time 7th, next time in the middle finally a cash in my 4th game 9 months later.
* Started playing freerolls at a bar about once a month.
* Bought Super System II and realized I didn't have a clue what I was doing.
* Once a quarter would go play live $3-$6 at a local casino.
* Read more books. Sklansky-Theory of Poker
* Joined SpadeClub
* Joined the Spadeclub Forum, later renamed to Beyond The Felt.
* Starting playing Tournies. Golf trip to Vegas. played live $3-$6 there
* Traveled a lot and found games to play in Minnesota (Home Tournies, Home Cash and live Casino)
* After 3 years I started to get a clue what I was doing. Was working in St. Louis and stayed at Harrah's and played Live and Tournies 3 nights a week for 5 weeks. A major tourning point in understanding Position, Patience. Started to make a slight Bankroll. Have not had to replenish with "Family Funds".
* Read Poker Tournament Formula (Arnold Snyder) had a positive effect my first tournies in Vegas.
* Played more subscriptions sites as they came and went (Fleet Street Games, Zosoz). Earned money to keep the bankroll going as I moved up to more online play and live tournies.
* Deposited money live at Pokerstars, Full Tilt and Gloss.
* Started playing more live tournies.
* Started playing Live NL Cash
* Still learning. My bankroll fluctuates between $200-$1K, The live cash games and subscription sites have provided me buyins to $100-$200 events. I just made my first cash in one of these events, but just got my $120 buy in back. Positive ROI on line, Breakeven live (+ NL, - Tournies).
* It's been 6 years now and I'm startuing to get a clue. Much more work to do!
Re: Game Results
3 games = +$0.50 for a knockout. I will wait to send when I have something of value to go along with it.
Here is how I did:
1.) $3.30 placed 11th. out with AQ, Vs AJ. 1 KO $ 0.50
2.) $3.30 placed 30th out with 2 pair, other rivered two higher pair when board paired.
3.) $ 3.30 placed 86th. out with 4 players all in. I had 15 outs after the flop, but alas. i went out.

Re: In need of exclusive forum weekly freeroll tournament
Unfortunately, I'm always a bit skeptical, of those who gravitate to something new, are all gung ho for a bit, but then you get the "what's in it for me".
Those who enjoy this site/forum, understand it's value to each other.
Don't let the haters get you down.
Re: The Saints Pledge of Allegiance
Depending on your perspective, That was UGLY!

Nice Job Nance!
Re: Game Results
Pat had sent me money for the Full Tilt OFC Game that I could not make, so I used the money on a $3.30 and $2.25 SnG. Here are the results:
$ 3.30 90 player KO Tourney.
I river a flush and lose to Quads and place 63rd for no money, or bounty.
$ 2.25 180 player Tourney
Get my money in good with AA, Get called by QQ and K-9 suited. You can guess the rest.
Queensflop the set but the K-9 rivers a straight and I am out in 72nd place with no money.
Keeping the faith, but watching the variance!
